About Us
Believe In Family Legacy Foundation is a Fredericksburg, VA based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing economic freedom,
access to higher learning, and empowerment to our communities.
Our organization uses a comprehensive approach to bolstering and growing the communities we work in by
providing social services, mentoring, training opportunities, emotional support and educational resources that address the needs of underprivileged families.
BFLF - Our beginning
In 2020, with a vision to pass on a better heritage to our children, Dr. Riddler W. Dorcely brought along many of his extended families ( Francois, Pyroneau, Laveaux , Chery , Cadet) and the community at large to begin identifying the socioeconomic quandaries which continue to weigh down families of all types and inhibit the growth of community. From roundtable discussions about what it means to leave a legacy to deliberations over operative research, our passion for alleviating the disparities many children and families face solidified into more than a simple desire to help and cemented into a drive to stand in the gaps as one for what we believe.
